Kris Adams hails from the Twins Cities area in Minnesota where she received her B.A. degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Kris was an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer for the Western Colorado Conservation Corps before taking the position as Public Lands Volunteer Coordinator for the Corps. When not galvanizing support for her volunteer projects you can find Kris riding her bike, tackling the back-country trails of Western Colorado, or saving/rescuing the smaller and less fortunate creature of the animal kingdom. If not outdoors or petting a kitten Kris likes to snuggle up with a good book.
